West Coast Saltwater Lagoon Restoration
Anchor QEA provided final design and construction support for sediment remediation and habitat restoration in a tidally flushed saltwater lagoon with impaired water and sediment quality due to heavy metals and oils.
We assisted with dredging and capping, constructed a pier-supported floating walkway, created trails and bioswales, planted eelgrass, and posted educational signage. We also performed riverine hydraulic analysis and developed concept drawings and cost estimates for the channel, bridge structures, utilities, and a park.
