Stormwater BMP Effectiveness Evaluation
Anchor QEA assisted with a stormwater best management practices (BMPs) effectiveness evaluation for a waterway.
We ensured compliance with a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) municipal stormwater permit, analyzed a stormwater database to identify time and spatial trends in stormwater quality, prioritized source controls, negotiated sampling requirements and protocols, and prepared NPDES monitoring and source control reports. We also completed a hydrologic modeling and pollutant loading assessment within the watershed to assess the cost effectiveness of various BMPs in reducing pollutant loads to the waterway.
