Port Storm Surge Analysis and Shoreline Protection Design
Anchor QEA evaluated storm conditions for a port and designed shoreline protection for a port’s expansion. Hydrodynamic and wave modeling was performed to develop coastal engineering design parameters for the site.
Anchor QEA simulated several hurricanes that had impacted the area to evaluate the effects of storm surge and wave conditions on the port’s expansion. We also developed construction specifications for dike design and armor, and provided construction management.
