Dam Removal and Fish Passage
Anchor QEA decommissioned a sockeye salmon spawning facility located adjacent to a lake. We removed surface and subsurface infrastructure that included two small dams, three spawning beaches, earthen berms, diversion intakes, and supporting infrastructure. A natural stream located north of the site which served as a water source for sockeye fry spawning was maintained post infrastructure removal.
